So far I am liking it, for it is thought provoking. But it is also a little bit contradictory (which may be the point). It seems that the author is condemning initiatives to increase confidence in women/minorities while urging us to look at the structural/societal causes of decreased confidence. I personally feel like you have to have a strong sense of self to begin to question/feel powerful enough to change things.
