I'm loving this, I would quote so much from it in every review, but there's a very tight character limit it seems, Jesus Christ.

I love Steinbeck's style though, that guy was really onto something. Not that I didn't know it before, I saw it in Of Mice and Men, but East of Eden is just much much more ambitious and grand. Every chapter is so dense and gripping.
