Sometimes it feels ridiculous how everything u feel/see is invalid once they determine you're sick..

I felt truly sorry for him when he began to suspect Lucy is not real, and how he realizes he can no longer distinguish between what's real and what's merely his illusion

The part about how our mind perceives things in a certain way was well explained. Sometimes t's hard to explain how "real" some things feel to those experiencing them and how general public refuses to accept anything unless they experience it themselves
