Words on the light-pink sticky note, such as: giving, refreshing, clarity, open. I never felt as though she was withholding anything. She gave what she could of herself every second, always utterly present. When she laughed it was as though she were placing a gift in your hand. No, it was more than that. It was like being taken to that open space yourself.
