I wonder how it feels when a person at a position of authority feels powerless, feels unable to change a system, feels unable to enact justice, feels unable to unsee inequality but does nothing about it. It's like all your life you worked your ass off to be able to bring change and yet here you are, not able to do that.

I'm not kidding when I say the US scares me. In a way that the country is the epitome and supposedly an ideal of how a development should look like but its veins, ideologies, and livelihood is so messed up that you don't care about anything other than the little life you've built for yourself. And it's more like, you can't care because you don't know what awaits you next.
