Finished Silver. Some of the writing was confusing but for the most part a quick easy read. We meet Samuel, Bran (who I think is Samuel's dad, and Ariana, daughter of fae and a forest Lord.)

Book Wings So far I've read Silver, HomeComing, Gray, Fairy Gifts and Seeing Eye. Moon Called is just sitting on my bed stand waiting to be read. The short stories seem disconnected from each other since they mostly focus on specific events from different characters. Fairy Gifts was unique in that it switched from present to past in order to clarify how events or characters were relevant. Both Fairy Gifts and Seeing Eye feature a character named Tom.

In Shifting Shadows, Fairy Gifts comes before Gray. However, according to the timeline on the author's website Gray is listed before Fairy Gifts, so that is the order in which I read them.
