It started a bit sappy and not that different from the authors previous work. But; as the chapters continue and the dept increases it gets better. Its typical the author refers to other wiccans (cunningham etc) a lot, but also using sources like kelden makes for a better whole picture.
Reminds me a lot of “temperance alden’s - year of the witch”

Honestly a suprising good read. Lets hope it stays that way.
