Creepy crawly by Sam Weller is first story of this section and it is downright nightmare inducing. Dealing with common place problem for almost everyone and turning it into an absolute nightmare!

“PART TWO CITY LIFE If Hell is other people, then the most oppressive level of hell is The City.”

So far this book has a little bit of everything: human monsters, werewolves, aliens, etc and each story has unpredictable and unique conclusions. I honestly don’t think I could have predicted a single one so far.

Also a really good story which a very creepy ending

“My concern is for the good of our beautiful neighborhood, and that good requires the prompt payment of all fines.”


I really liked this story and think it was the prefect way to start the book and grab the readers attention.
The HOA can be a nightmare and your neighbours can be the death of you!

“The smarter children had hidden inside homes, often not their own (herein lies a conundrum: do I fine neighbors for this occurrence? I haven’t decided yet, but I recognize it’s improper for adults to consort with other people’s children without their parents’ permission…so I’ll put those fines in abeyance too). The not-smart children received their Darwin awards that day.”

“PART ONE THE SUBURBS Something about the suburbs renders them prima facie terrifying. That inherent creep factor drives these tales.”
