Got off to a slow start, but I am starting to appreciate/enjoy Atkinson’s writing a bit more. One of the challenges of the book is the unfamiliar military vocabulary. I have to look up quite a few words to understand what’s being described. However, it’s really fascinating to read about more modern military operations.
