I actually really liked her writing. Her style is a little less YA than other romantasy books I've read. The spice is also heavier and a bit more mature and sensual. I also enjoyed the actual plot. I'm not a big romatasy reader and this is the first romamtasy book I read. I was surprised the story was as important as the spice and was more open to giving some of the other popular romantasy books a chance because of this one.

I do find that the first 100 pages were repetitive BUT that is something to get over, especially with the play on Greek Mythology easily.
