Part 1 of this book is a mess of badly written characters and confusion but some set up for part 2. The beginning of part 2 is still a little rough but I’ll say it’s not too bad, she just isn’t the greatest at portraying the little things in abusive relationships but gets the bigger picture. The book still kinda suxks but it isn’t the worst.

He pushes her down the stairs. Tries to gaslight her. Sleeps in front of her appartement door and begs for forgiveness. Gets his sister which is her best friend involved and tells her how his older brother died because he shot him. HOW DOES THAT EXCUSE WHAT YOU DID ?? ??? ????? I’ll give Colleen credit for this part, he’s writing like an accurate abusive asshole just like how her father was.

Cracked the 100th page, now 200 more to go. . *jumps off a bridge*

I can’t with this book. Issa comes into the picture and I really love her, just an angel and ball of sunshine helping Lily but then when Ryle and Lily meet they keep talking about wanting to back each other and liking each other WHILE BARELY KNOWING EACH OTHER URURRRRR, anyway, Atlas is still one of my faves so far, he’s gentle and nice
