oh gosh...you're on that part. My sympathies ;) It's a pretty bumpy ride until you get to Veterans.

awsh yeah :/ It's pretty harsh reading. Some days I wished I had stopped after Soldiers. But there's some moments that's worth it all :)
Mercenaries is tough, but really it's the meat of this series. It's the part that always gets discussed, argued about, sweated over. People swear, throw their ereaders, get absolutely infuriated and then go rant to everyone else. Amazing how emotionally excruciating Mercs I & II are.
Also, they are pretty porny from the last third of this one through the first third of the next. Too much so, I think (and I have a pretty high tolerance for guy on guy sex, too! :>)

You are much too calm. Either you have an extraordinarily mellow personality or you aren't far enough along in the book. Somewhere around Chapter 26 or 27 is when the real gnashing of teeth usually starts.
