Part 1: The Freedom Fighters find a portal to an unknown zone, which spurts out a cyborg version of Sonic. It explains that his world is in trouble due to his version of Robotnik. Sonic rounds up other dimensional versions of him to explain the situation, and out pops a team of dimensional Robotniks, forming the forces of Robo Robotnik.
