I'm scarcely 100 pages into this book, not even 10% of the way. So far, it's splitting its time between at least three main characters and a healthy host of supporting ones.

And yet, King's craft is so remarkable that I've just been floored by a family argument that could only work with a healthy understanding of character and history - and it's ALL there.

I think I'm in for something special here.
