Although Anolik clearly predisposes herself toward Babitz, I am a Didion to my core. Babitz is lewd, annoying, and, ultimately, untalented. Any failure, albeit of talent or character, Babitz blames on someone else (mostly Didion). Babitz has the disposition of a child. Didion, on the other hand, possesses actual talent - which alone is enough to put Babitz to rest.
