I’m not usually into graphic novels, but I’ve been considering them for a while. Summer Shadows felt like the perfect starting point. It blends two of my favorite genres—horror & LGBTQ+ fiction—into one intriguing package. The opening scenes are beautifully illustrated, capturing a sense of loss and heartbreak surrounding the main characters. So far, the story has drawn me in and I’m eager to see what happens next.
