Can I say what I like about this book so far? The characters aren’t miserable and depressing to spend time with!! They are dealing with serious matters with levity and it’s actually pleasant to read. So many books I read exhaust me because the narrators/protagonists are deeply troubled or sad. But the book is also so well written and poignant - it’s nice to walk away not feeling miserable about the world
