This is the first of Dicken's books that I have read in first person. I enjoyed reading in Pip's voice and discovering the answers to the mysteries alongside Pip. I do like how Dicken's brings everything full circle and no character or happening is random. Through the rise and falls of Pip's expectations, he was a relatable and likable protagonist, though he could be snob

Finished a tale of two cities. 4 ⭐️
I did not see the ending coming.
The end of book 2 and the entirety of book 3 were gripping and made me anxious for the character's fates.
