Darin and I wandered through a local bookstore recently, and I wanted to find something new to read. My natural predisposition points me toward nonfiction, but this time I wanted to read purely for the pleasure of getting lost in the words. I came across this book by David Mitchell, who famously wrote Cloud Atlas, and knew it was the one after reading the synopsis.
