I began reading this for something to do before bed to take my mind off my stresses so I could fall asleep. The first third went by very slowly, then it got better and more gripping until the end. Sometimes the language was too flowery and I would have skim a couple sentences. The storyline was very clever though, and overall I liked it because of my low expectations.
