I'm abandoning this for now. I really liked it at first and then became increasingly bored with it. I feel like it could be half as long. Too many of the characters have similar voices and perspectives. I got to the point where I stopped caring...that said may pick it up again sometime. I mean, it did win the Booker for a reason.
