Definitely enjoying this so far. Not sure it’s truly a “children’s” book though, given the kind of rambling language and more intricate words, not to mention the danger and death and gore I’ve run into so far. I know there’s more to come. Very interesting to read the original book after seeing the Netflix/BBC adaptation.
