I've been feeling blah about reading in general lately. Since I respond well to challenges, I've decided to give myself something more definite than the GR reading challenge (which I am also doing). More on this when I get around to reviewing my first book of the year...

You've seen the self-created challenge I'm doing, haven't you? One book published during every year of my life that I've never read before... started just before my 55th birthday, so at a book a month, I should finish in time for my 60th. It's been fun tracking down what was published when... and finding all sorts of books I'd always intended to read but never got around to. It's pushing me out of the rut I had worked myself into and I've been really enjoying it. (And I say this even after pushing through that horrible Fredrick Pohl book from 1977.)
