I just finished Rendezvous Point by Jason Fry which is arguably my favorite of the roughly 15 short stories I've read so far. It made me realize a lot of these stories are missing character interactions. Incessant on being a character study but often running out of things to say by page 3. Fry also focuses on a plot that isn't directly from the film but could plausibly happen in it, which helped it stand out SO MUCH.
