i was pretty sure knew what i was getting myself into when i picked this up, but it's still annoying how the mc talks about how HOT her "mortal enemy" is. the amout of times it's mentioned that "he could do anything he wanted to her and no one could stop him" JUST SHUT UP
this is like a regular ya book except they say "fuck" on like every page. it's giving that one meme that's like "i actually do cuss a little! ☺️"

the "romance" between mc and that guy "best friend" is so unneccessary, and i think i lowkey would have enjoyed reading their dynamic and the shifts as he grows more overprotective and stuff if it was more of a protective older brother thing or whatever. idk, it's just so awkward and unpleasant. he's rlly getting on my nerves. 😕
