why didn’t she think to kill him and make sure they wouldn’t be followed immediately
especially bc the scientist is likely alive

so the reveal of the fmc (and other earthlings) having myrm dna or cells
whatever theyre called
was extremely rushed
a shame
bc it would’ve been good to dive into it all more
she just suddenly got a download of knowing everything along with new powers

this one star rating isnt going to change .
despite it having more moments i enjoyed compared to the previous books
the consistently SHIT writing throughout is enough to fuck it all up
i can’t help but compare this series to the isador house series
that one has so much more
this series is too fast paced
with too much sex
and too much shit writing

book two ended with a lovely little picnic they set up for her
and then a sudden attack by another dyno squad that jumped in out of nowhere
little details i reread and it tickles my memory
like the way she remarked on no clouds in the sky but she can suddenly smell ozone, which was a precursor to the attack
my expectations are low going into this reread bc i rated it so low initially apparently
