I liked the first book, and I adore King and Chizmar, but there was always going to be a but in that sentence when it starts with so much praise, not this time. I am fifty pages in, and King's and Chizmar's political opinions drip from the pages as if the book is soaked their in bile.

I hope that I can lose myself in the story in the next fifty pages.
