“Birches” is a standout to me from this section. I loved his description of a boy whose only play was what he found himself - bending the birches.

I’ve always loved The Road Not Taken, and it’s been neat to read it alongside Christmas Trees and An Old Man’s Winter’s Night while it snows outside my house.
