Turning a bit boring, the descriptive writing is lacking, especially after being introduced to a new world within the relm of this book. Character dialogue has gone from mediocre to where everyone is an estranged family member with red flags and history of noted abusiveness (scripted reality tv meets author trying to write. This book up to now could have been written with more creativity and robust points of view....

Depending on where exactly this is, stuff is definitely about to go down lol. One particular thing I had forgotten about and was not expecting it lol

What did you forget that you were you not expecting? I left off where Jude probably burned the last bridge with Cardan just before the wedding. Inam actually upset Jude doesn't swallow her pride and be real and authentic and stop being so stubborn and trying to do everything on her own without real help. It's okay to be vulnerable....
It sounds like you haven't gotten to the part I'm referring to. The part I mean happens right after the wedding. So I'd prefer not to spoil it lol. I also get frustrated when she tries to do everything alone.
I will let you know when I do! Probably not this week seeing how it's not going well
