I loved this author's other book, but this is quite a lengthy novel and it is a distinct style of fantasy. I got about 150 pages in and I need to take a pause to read a book club book, given this book's esteem, I might come back to it but it's going to be on pause for a bit. Definitely needing to speed it up a little bit for me to get invested I think....
