Ok I cried actual tears but that's because of a personal emptional trigger
Also, I've been feeling like the kids act very much like white kids (I'm a PoC). And this just got proven now. Obviously the author is white but I just thought she'd have done some research or sth beforehand to made effort in writing so. Doesn't show through anymore
