It's funny how Lady Macbeth reads about the witches prophecy and she immediately believes it, but also wonders if he is up to it. 'he is ambitious, true, but far too kind and compassionate' and moves to 'what can I do to help?' and upon hearing the king is coming it is 'ok i gotta kill the king' it's almost like it is ordained. Not a prophecy but a mandate.
