It makes me almost angry enough to write a review publicly but I can’t even be bothered

My mind had been wandering so often throughout these reads

On to better and brighter things

I pray to the gods that my mind will quickly forget this unbelievably massive piece of shit that is this author and her writing.

Idk if I mentioned it before

But I’d apparently read at least one book by this author before this raksha series
Rated it very low ofc

And I just forgot

And apparently
One of them had LITERALLY THE EXACT PLOT of this series with the alien transformation to save the fmc

Ugh
Fucking shit writing to the max

I still maintain Rawn being the best and most interesting character

And this writing just did him so dirty

Figures, easily the only character I care about and he’s barely on page

The world building is practically nonexistent too

I hardly know any of these main characters after SEVEN HUNDRED FUCKING PAGES

I’ll read the blurb and reviews for the third book
I believe it’s the last one

But surely it can’t be any better than the first two of this series

I feel like shit
At least a third of the reason is surely bc of this shit reading material I’ve forced on myself the last few days

I have so much to rant about but I’m trying to make it short and sweet as I can

Deleting both books from my library right after this
The handful of good moments from each aren’t nearly enough incentive for me to keep them
It just feels like it’s taking up space
Wasting space more like

Unsurprisingly
This was a disappointing read

The conclusion and epilogue even more so

The little bits of Bethany making an appearance was lackluster

The way this writing dragged the story out was exhausting

And unnecessary

Ugh

Paused at the very first Rawn pov chapter

I’m not hungry but I should eat

About a hundred pages or so left to read

This has been a distraction
I don’t want to get back to real life

I did have a thought earlier when tristn gave her to voice box antidote
Maybe the ghost aliens shot rawn too and he’s been speaking this entire time

Idk how I feel about him being rat sized literally a few days ago in story
If even that long…

Who and what is rawn

Is he the king of the alien rats

Why and how does he keep growing
Was it thanks to thise sunflower seeds
Or maybe bonding with her
Or natural for his species
Why has no one ever noticed it before
Maybe he’s from another universe taken by the ghost aliens

How big will he get
Surely there must be another reason for his protectiveness over her

Is he going to become an mmc …

Somehow I must’ve missed parts one and two being over bc now I’m at part three

I hate that I’m reading this shit

I hate that this is shit reading

Theres not one single character that I remotely like
And Rawn doesn’t count bc the protective alien critter companion is always a sure fire loveable character.

These main characters every one of them are absolute shite though. Ugh.
