There have been so many times where I have needed to stop, put down the book, and just stare. Only a third of the way through and my heart is broken. But I, we, need to feel that. There are horrors going on right now as I write this, erasing and eradicating the people of Gaza. This book does bring some hope into remembering them, for whatever that means.
