Disappointed to say it, but a strong start has led to disappointment. Boudicca herself is pretty flat and one-dimensional and she lacks the fire she had in real life. She is a beacon of freedom and has inspired millions to fight for it. The dialogue is very clunky. We know her tribe is the Iceni. We don’t need to be reminded of it 600 times per chapter.
