I really appreciate the structure of this book. Lloyd weaves in her own experiences along with those of the survivors she works with, and when the content of the personal accounts begins to feel too emotionally heavy to continue, she intuitively switches to present the issue of human trafficking from a more academic perspective, led by facts and statistics. It’s a difficult, but important read.
