Thanks for the tip. I'd take it off my reading list if you had provided more details in your update as to why it sucked. But by the end, if it does truly suck that's a bummer. I have a thing for libraries. Good day. And thanks for the update and insight. Always appreciated. PS. I'll assume it's the writing style that you have an issue with.

My main qualms are indeed with the writing style; it feels clunky. The narration repeats the same details over and over again, and the whole thing is strewn with confusing grammar and inelegant metaphor. It’s highly possible that my proclivity for classics has made me irreparably snooty; regardless, I am not having a good time with this book.

However, I might go back, since reading bad writing is a way to improve your own writing, serving as an example of what not to do... ok... now I'm done....:) (Should be, check later in case I have another thought bubble in the middle of the night.)
