These stories are very good... it's bizarre...

Huh... I misread the spoilers... and now not only am I 76% certain it's the Space Marines novel that has the nonsense I was expecting, I'm also aware the misogyny I haven't been mentioning is a million times worse in the novels he wrote...

I think I'll read a Stormcast Eternals novel after I finish the two ridiculous mammoth reads I'm avoiding... been curious... found some contenders...

Very good story... but I read this was a different story and was excited for something else... oh well...

Dan Abnett is such a good writer... I decided to read the three shorter stories preceding the infamous Ian Watson one before reading it to create hype and anticipation...

It was such a great story... again, very few Inquisitor Inerrogation Framework™ stories are good... this one was quite nice.

I read a similar one about the Space Wolves... wondering...

Anyway, I traumatised my partner with the ending, I think...

That was such a good story... the ending, with the Dreadnought... I really love it...

It's exceptionally human... even though this is a tale about His Angels of Death...

Now I need more genestealer cult stories...

I love when Space Marines bring down the patriarchy... it was a genestealer patriarch, but still...

The Dark Angels being Native American-coded is so confusing coming from the new lore... very bizarre opinion about pollution for space marines...

Tangentially related... I'm so excited because I discovered that the other Ian Watson story in this book is the Space Marine Poop Ritual™ one... when I finish Deathwing... Emperor, give me strength...

So... I'm finally reading the first story... and I'm so happy it's Terminator Armour Time™... I love it...

I'm very easy to please (not necessarily in that order):
• Space Hulk
• Space Wolf
• Terminator Armour
• Dreadnought
• Tzeentch
• Thousand Sons

Now Space Sharks and White Scars join the ranks.

There's a whole gender thing going on... I can imagine it has something to do with the old representations of the devil and (of course) Slaanesh...

...but God, it's just nonsense. A voice with a voice you can't tell if it's male or female; then it's revealed it forgot... it just felt pointless...

As someone from now, not then, that wasn't fun...

The story itself was very good though. Might read Deathwing next...
