This is really good as a recap/summary of for all Islamic history. It's essentially just a speed-run through everything that happened from before the time of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ all the way through to the Ottoman Khedivate of Egypt (more recently- in relativity). I haven't started reading about the Caliphates yet but I'm excitedd- so far so good!

SO FAR THIS IS AWESOME- it literally recaps from the beginning of Arabs and their origins to the era in which the author lived (the Ottoman Khedivate of Egypt)! He breaks up each of the points frames nicely, and sections it off into "Lessons" (almost like chapters!).
