Damn right this leaves many questions unanswered. The biggest one: Why are there literally no bisexual people in her understanding of the world?

Holy cow. This is the most bi-erasive piece of crap. Now she's analyzing James Baldwin. The constant reference to male bisexuality as "straight men having queer sex" is getting on my nerves.

In her world, the men have sex with each other and the woman, but they're definitely not bi or anything. Just straight dudes having sex.

I agree that the popular image of a man with 2 women vs a woman with 2 men is problematic. But that's all it is: an image. It's not as common as she seems to think it is.

Oh, hell. She's citing Jane Ward. More denial of male bisexuality coming up.

And some biphobic BS. Bisexuality as essentially unstable.

Oh, God. She just referred to "malebodied" to mean people with certain anatomy.

STOP PUTTING BISEXUAL IN QUOTES

Seriously? No. A heterosexual woman's desire for two heterosexual men is not "queer." The author has NO business using or reclaiming the word queer when it is one which has been used for harm against a community of people with whom she clearly does not identify.
