So I still can't tell whether the author is a big troll or totally sincere, but it's got some funny shade about some ugly people lol

Okay I'm getting deeper into the book and I really have no idea if it's mmm good satire or SRS BSNS, e.g.: 'It believes that a woman needs no other cosmetics than fresh air, exercise, and pure water, which, if freely used, will impart a ruddier glow and more pearly tint to the face than all the rouge and lily-white in Christendom.' Also much lulz for making me think of, 'Ladies pinch; whores use rouge.'

'For the first comfort, it must be owned that American women have the least natural grace of any nation in the world.' y u mad tho

Use ammonia and beef marrow. FOR EVERYTHING

Look at the title! How could I NOT read this book? And I always need toilet tips! Alas, I had to manually add it, even though it's on Amazon.com? Strange...
