Can’t decide if I loved the book or not. There were moments while reading, where I was immersed into little Rahel and Estha’s world but also, I did space out a couple of times because the story was heavy on descriptions.
Needless to say the world-building is so beautifully done and the story picks up pace towards the end. A sweet blend of slow burn coming-of-age and social commentary?
