you know, i enjoyed this for the most part! i guessed the whole Jew disguise in advance, so the last few chapters were a trudge. and Marguerite kinda ended up not doing much...? so like?? idk. the ending was quite abrupt; i wanted more emotion from Percy, more loose ends tied up, etc. but not bad for what it was, i suppose.

okay, as dramatic as it may be, this book is getting ✨WILD!✨ like, i did not expect the whole plot twist/big reveal with Lord Percy. i began to pick up on it by the one in the morning/dining room situation, but still; wowww!! the romance part is a bit much, but i'm enjoying this! a delightful little romp, especially for a school book. :)
