Picked this up again after a very, very long break. I reread the beginning and am feeling like I'm getting even more out of it because I know a little more about the water regs in CA.

I've read the acknowledgements, prologue, and 8 pages of the introduction and feel like this book was written for me. Like, the universe saw me being queer and genderfuild in the streams every day and giving talks on queer identity and endangered species and just gifted me this incredible book.
