It’s been a while since I’ve read a fantasy novel like this. This is my first book by Travis Baldree, and it’s cool, but I’m not sure I’m invested enough to read more from the same universe. I think this will be a one off. If I was in a season of needing a book to escape, this would be perfect. I’m Buddy reading it with a group on discord, so the social aspect is fun at least!
