Some of the town & nature descriptions are charming. Especially since I, too, live in the middle of the woods.
This novel sorely needed to be properly edited, however, instead of merely proofread. Typos & tense changes galore. As well as stunted sentences that read awkwardly & need their wording either rearranged, or words omitted altogether so the prose flows better.
