I appreciate their wanting to create aand celebratory record of this period of comic history but I think these guys REALLY understate how misogynistic 99% of comix were in the boom. And I'm not even talking about Robert Crumb (at least he was honest about how much of a freak he was) there are two women in this entire book and dozens of weird anatomically lacking pinups by dudes who thought they were the next Marx
