The Russian Detective is a beautifully crafted graphic novel with stunning visuals and an intriguing start. The story begins with a bang, drawing you into its world, but quickly becomes light, chaotic, and underdeveloped. Promising storylines are rushed, and the reading flow can be confusing. Doubling its length could have allowed for deeper storytelling. Visually captivating, but ultimately felt unfinished.
