I really like the story that is unfolding at the beginning of each chapter, and the author's personal connection to each of the elements she is teaching about in the book. Many of her experiences are similar to many of my own. I already made some talismans from the first chapter (the cross-stitch embroidery patterns), and am looking forward to making the ancestor doll described in Chapter 2.
