I thought this when I read the first book and I'm thinking it now again. I really wish this series has more non-shifter books featuring vampires and fae and elves and witches. But most especially, the ogres which seem like they would make for the sweetest MCs and romance stories.

I don’t understand why he’s shocked. I’m actually shocked it’s not a regular thing in this universe. It’s no more shocking than an alpha male impregnating an omega male lol. Also, I didn’t know alpha females were such a rare and big deal. I can’t even remember if it was discussed in book 1.

Is it just me, or is he just so nonchalant about his kid being sick? Even if you account for shifter healing, a parent would still be super worried and want to be there and ask about their kids first. Especially if they’ve heard rumours about the beta illness and their daughter is a beta.
